Room Setup Workflow

1. Select location and plant date: choose the managed location, set the plant date, and use Locations if you need to add or recolor a location.
2. Enter bench count and layout: use the Rows x Benches inputs. For example, 32 benches can be Rows 2 x Benches 16, 10 benches can be Rows 2 x Benches 5, and 5 benches can be Rows 1 x Benches 5.
3. Click Apply Room Layout: after filling in the bench count and layout, click Apply Room Layout so the bench outline updates on the room map.
4. Protect room setup: after the layout is applied, the location, dates, bench count, layout, and numbering controls lock. Click Edit Room Setup when you intentionally need to change them, then apply the updated layout to lock them again.
5. Use room templates: on a new room, select the location and choose a matching Room Template, then click Use Template. Templates contain only the physical room and bench layouts; strains, plants, tags, dates, and harvest data are entered separately.
6. Set bench numbering: left-to-right or right-to-left changes the displayed bench numbers, not the physical plant layout.
7. Add room strains: use Room / Strain Totals to add the strains for the room and set their colors. Strains display in the order you add them; drag them to reorder. Deleting a strain asks for confirmation first.
8. Set each bench grid: use the Width x Length inputs in the bench panel. Width is plants across the bench, and Length is rows from front to back.
9. Enter strain rows front to back: click Add Strain in the bench panel, choose the strain from the dropdown, and enter rows in the same order they sit on the bench, starting with the front/bottom row and continuing toward the back. Enter full rows and partial-row plants. The app calculates the total.
10. Use partial row selection: if a strain has partial-row plants, the selection popup appears when you click Apply Strains. Select the exact cells on that row before the next strain continues.
11. Use brush edits only for exceptions: select a strain or Empty in Brush, then click cells to correct individual plants.
12. Mark dead plants: switch the bench editor from Paint to Dead, click the plant cell, enter the full METRC tag or last digits from the tag, then save the marker.
13. Use Copy Bench: after setting up one bench, Copy Bench copies the selected bench's grid size, strains, colors, and manual cell edits to the benches you choose.

METRC Tags and Weights

• Tag input: enter individual tags, full ranges, or shortened ranges after a full starting tag.
• Example: 1A4060200032A8F000085603-085958, 085960-086070.
• Assignment order: tags follow the bench order starting at Bench 1 and continue through the strains in the same order plants are assigned.
• Weights: open Tags and Weights for a strain, enter up to 10 sample weights, and use the displayed average for reporting.
• Harvest production: mark a strain harvested, then enter each harvest record with its date, bigs in pounds, smalls in pounds, and trim in grams. Add another record for a later partial harvest.
• Warnings: Room / Strain Totals flags missing tags, tag count mismatches, or ranges that do not cover the assigned plant count.

Review, Print, and Backup

• Room map: gives the quick visual view of bench fill, strain colors, and empty space.
• Room / Strain Totals: confirms total assigned plants, room capacity, per-strain counts, and tag ranges.
• Print: creates the working room sheet with the full bench layout and compact totals.
• Dashboard: switch the Maps/Dashboard control to review current rooms, harvest history by strain and location, lifecycle days, and averages. Use the filter icon beside a table column to filter that table.
• Export Current: downloads one map. Export All: downloads every saved map as a backup.

Save/Delete/Export

• Save: saves the current map and updates the cloud copy when cloud is connected.
• Saved map order: saved maps are listed by newest plant date first, with undated maps after dated maps.
• Harvest status: use the Harvest button beside a strain's Weights to harvest strains individually. The room shows Partial Harvest until every strain is harvested. Use the Saved Map stage filter to show All, Active, Vegging, Flowering, Partial Harvest, or Harvested maps.
• Delete Saved Map: Deleting a saved map requires a password and removes it from this browser and cloud storage.
• Export Current: downloads one map. Export All: downloads a backup file with every saved map.

Troubleshooting

• Map is missing on another computer: open the map where it exists, click Save, or export/import a backup.
• Save says cloud failed: the map is still saved locally. Log in again, then click Save.
• Bench is underfilled or overfilled: check the bench capacity, strain row totals, and partial-row selections.
• Print looks different: use the browser print preview first and confirm background graphics/colors are enabled.
